GORDON McWilliams: my adventures with Miki Alterations

I was in PV going to the market with my wife and looked across the street and saw Miki Alterations. Then I thought I have a new pair of pants with me I bought that need altering. I walked into her shop and she adjusted the pants in 15 minutes and charged me $15, I was ecstatic! After I went home I started to think how I had some jackets at home that were a little difficult to put on so I asked Miki to add a liner to the jackets. She did 3 of my jackets and did an incredible job, using great quality fabric. Below are some samples of some of the custom works she has done for me over the last few years.

Most shirts you buy in the store are mass produced with less quality fabric. Below are shirts Miki made with fabric I purchased at a fabric store in Lomita and had her work her magic!

Tie KILT

I realized I had a closet full of neck ties that I didn’t necessarily want to get rid of. Being of Scottish ancestry I decided to ask miki to make a kilt out of them and was extremely impressed with the results.
